Wattz International - Diffused Hair Loss
Diffused hair loss can be evident through a multitude of problems. Diffused hair
loss shows it self as a general overall thinning of the entire scalp. Below is a list
of some of the causes, although the list is not exhaustive.
- Low iron levels
- Scalp psoriasis
- Post natal
- Medication
- Illness
- Shock
- Hormonal
- Menopause
- High temperature
- Toothache
- Scaling scalp conditions
- Diet
- Mechanical - as in chemical over-process / over-use of too hot styling tools
Usually this condition is temporary and able to be corrected once diagnosis and
prognosis is made by a trichologist or dermatologist.
Medication, time or hair products and styling could be your first treatments,
depending on the diagnosis.
Should the hair be well bedded within the hair follicle, it is possible to add some
micro bonded hair extensions to add volume to the hair.
However, scalp tests must be made to ensure the receiving hair is strong enough to
take the extra weight of the added hair.
Of course in diffused hair loss where the scalp is really exposed, scalp makeup and
or fibres can be really effective should the condition be temporary. If the condition
were to be diagnosed by a trichologist or dermatologist to be permanent, then perhaps
a hair replacement system would be the better and most effective option.
Take a look at Sandra’s photographs, Sandra suffers with severe scalp psoriasis,
being so persistent for so many years has left Sandra with a permanent diffused hair
loss. Sandra now wears a fabulously natural hair replacement system which is perimeter
bonded. |
